Current League Status: Regular Season (Week 4)
This is the main thread for the Calgarypuck Connected GM league for Playstation 3 users. Use it to keep up to date on league news, the trading block, general discussions, and to schedule matchups.
- League Details -
League Name: Calgarypuck
Rosters will be randomized through a simulated fantasy draft.
Gameplay Settings:
: Skill Level - All-Star
: Play Style - Hardcore
: Period Length - 7 Minutes
: Overtime - Continuous OT (No Overtime Loss Point)
Regular season will be based on a weekly schedule, which advances every 3 days in real life. Year 1 schedule is based on the official schedule of the NHL for the 2012/13 season.
It is not mandatory to play in a game. If you're unable to participate in a human-human matchup with your opponent, make sure you're team status is set to CPU so the opposing player can play against your AI if they wish. Games that are not completed when the week advances will be simulated.
All transactions (trades, signings, waivers, etc.) are pending on commissioners approval. Transactions will be reviewed daily.
Playoff series number of games will be best of 5. Overtime games in the playoffs will be continuous overtime until a team scores the game winning goal.
- Registration -
League registration is now partially closed due to capacity being reached. Additional users that want to participate in the league will be added to a 'wait list.' If a GM within a league needs to be replaced, then the user in the highest order in the wait list will receive a notification to join the league if they wish. If they decline, the next in line user will receive the same notification.
