Well, considering it's size, and the fact that I've been there quite a bit, I've never not completely enjoyed a trip to Banff. Just something about it that always makes it enjoyable, time after time.

A lot of real crap on that list!!! Why on earth would a visit to Toronto,Edmonton,Calgary,Windsor,London or Kingston(lets visit Paul Bernardo) be considered top Destinations?
Personally and literally I think before any Canadian dies they should visit the Cape Breton Highlands (Cabot Trail) at least once.

Because the drinking age is lower and the strippers get completely naked.

Only 6 there I haven't visited, mostly the "smaller" Ontario towns + Winnipeg.
I'll agree the Cabot Trail should be on there as well as Dawson City, Yukon. Best place in the country to party, if you ask me.
I love that Charlottetown, Halifax and St. John's made it, but nowhere in NB. I wish I still lived out east so I could make jokes at the expense of Monctoners.

I can only accurately rank the cities from BC, and i'd rank them as such.
Tofino
Whistler
Victoria
Kelowna
Vancouver
I'm not a big fan of Vancouver the city. The best thing about living close to Vancouver is that your also reasonably close to the 4 destinations listed above it. A 4 hour trip and you can spend your long weekend in Whistler, Kelowna or Victoria. Tofino is aways further but well worth the trip.

St. John's would be WAY down on the list on NL places to visit unless you like rain and fog. There is some history there but I can think of a ton of better places on the rock to visit over that place.

Terrible list. I can think of 20 places in BC that out rank more than half that list.

In my area Desolation Sound is a little known destination, except with boaters.

Desolation Sound owes its name to the solitude and isolation it offers. Considered to be the best cruising area in BC, and one of the top three best cruising grounds in the world

I'm headed to the Cabot Trail first week of October. Haven't been there since I was 12 and didn't really appreciate it then. Hoping the leaves will be perfect then.

Other than 1 or 2 places I haven't been to in the top 15, I agree with the list. And I completely agree with Banff. If I didn't have some personal reasons to be in Calgary, I'd move back in a heartbeat.

I love Calgary, but why would anyone want to come here as a travel destination?
Banff, I totally agree with though. Also, Northern Alberta and most of BC would be better than almost the entire list.

I realize it is just one place on the list, but I'm not really sure how Calgary is placed ahead of Ottawa. Perhaps for 10 days in July Calgary is a tourist destination but other than that, what, really, is the appeal of Calgary as a tourist destination?

Well soon we'll have a Norman Foster building and a Santiago Calavatra pedestrian bridge.
Also, Cowboys, the Stampede, Olympic legacy, the Flames, Banff...
