Score effects and late penalties, plus a 4 minute penalty in the second.

Yes it seems like the question is whether the Flames are better than the Habs.

On paper I say they are. And maybe this coaching change will backfire big time on them.

Great question, we only had like 10 shots after the first which I was super confused about because I thought we had a really good period.

Flames lost 7-1 to the Oilers and outshot them 2-1

6 PP to 1

Also no rebounds when the first shot goes in!

@DarrenWHaynes

By the way, Dillon Dube confirms he didn't keep Jacob Markstrom's hat. "I picked it up for him and gave it back. I didn't want it to get too wet, he had to throw it back on."

Good win but it’s also Ottawa. No complaints tonight but I’d like to see them win the next two games as well to really get back into this race.

Except for the fact that Bennett was one of the only Flames to actually show up, the last time they played the Oilers!!

Yup. I want to see them beat a team that plays them well, without it being a stand on your head game by the goalie. I need to see them defeat a team that checks them hard and just bust through coverage.
