Better... but I felt like all these nameless characters who have no chemistry with each other felt really.. wooden?
Happy to see some progression at least. The quality of the acting/production and all that in the first three episodes was very enjoyable. The back story explanation in episode 4 was very enjoyable. Now if they can melt these two things together moving forward I'm sold.

I’m not sure we needed to be told about the external world. Would have seeing Wanda propel Rambeau out been enough to know that Wanda is running the show.
There were other ways internal to the sitcom to show Wanda’s control over the world. This seemed like a full show of exposition that could have been better sprinkled.
I thought the third episode was better. The fourth didn’t really provide answers as the question is still is Wanda full in control or trapped by something.

The problem with the whole blip is if the argument is you game back exactly where you left it only works in a stationary earth frame of reference.
Most people end up in the cold void of space and the universe remains half populated.

On the flip side, hundreds of thousands of people drop into the oceans, concentrated with shrimp, rum, and self-entitlement.

That was cool. Now we have some narrative pull to the whole thing and this episode actually gave the lead, Wanda, some depth in her little bit of screen time.

Clearly it should have been a 4 ep dump to start, in order to keep fans interested.

Eh, I thought this was by far the worst episode
It just confirmed everything that was already IMO quite obvious, shoved in a ton of fanservice in the form of recurring characters and references to previous things, actors had nothing to do except try to blurt out plot exposition in a way that's somehow interesting, and the actual story within Westview just grounded into a complete stop.
But I guess Lynch-light was still too Lynch for a mainstream MCU audience.
This episode also made me want to watch Legion again. (The TV show, which also did trippy good episodes intermixed with bland "let us explain the plot" episodes.)

Enjoyed this episode the most. Nice to get some context. It had me wondering if it would have been better to be splicing those parts in from the beginning or not. Might be a fun series to re-cut.
I also like all the supporting cast that came in. Kay Dennings has a low key great arc from slacker ditz to someone who genuinely becomes interested in and excels in her field.

Kat Dennings was literally the only part that I had a problem with. From poli-sci major to someone in the field of astrophysics that the gov't would have on their 'call this person first' list.

I didn't really enjoy the first three episodes but really liked the "Whoa!" tie ins/callbacks they had in 4.
Monica and her mom from Captain Marvel. Agent Wu from Antman (and even the card trick). Darcy from Thor. SHIELD to SWORD.
Sure, I'm on board.

The show has an amazing premise, but everything else has been ok at best: the acting, writing and directing has been a big pile if meh, and those first three episodes reeeeeeally could have used some inspiration in those fields. The marvel method of moviemaking really leans on having great performances by extremely charismatic actors, which you're just not gonna get out of Wanda and Vision. I think a talented director given a little slack to get weird with it would have gone a long, long way.
That said, Wanda losing her mind and altering reality in increasingly unstable ways is a premise that cant be beat, plus I'm still really invested in marvel even though my interest is waning. It won't be enough to keep renewing, but I'll catch up on it when I open my account again.
