Yea this is why I’m not too high on him or Yelesin.

I think they probably top out at something similar to Nesterov, 6/7 dmen.

I'm thinking like 2 years. Plus, I don't see an opening anytime soon, so there's that. He'd have to leapfrog Mackey in the depth chart first.

Heat tie it up late! It's 3-3 off a goal by Leslie, really nice passing by Gawdin and Kirkland.

Galchenyuk and Kivihalme had scored to give the Marlies the lead before this goal.

Guys I'm starting to feel like Ruzicka isn't going to get 3 points today.

Wowwww, Petrovic scores with under two to play and Stockton now leads 4-3.

This Marlies goalie has been both all-world and Brian-Elliot-in-the-playoffs bad.

Hey Scorp,

Can you possibly reach out to Cory Stillman and interview him about his time coaching Ruzicka?

I know it's off topic, and maybe not possible...but I'd love to read that story on the other site

Heat win 4-3, that's five in a row.

11 different point scorers for Stockton today. Nobody with multiple points...

Petrovic
Leslie
Pettersen
Zary

with goals

Mackey
Poolman
Gawdin
Estephan
Kirkland
Tuulola
Philp

with assists.

Phillips and Ruzicka held off the scoresheet. Zary now has points in five consecutive games.

Zary is going to destroy the Dub this year!

It’s nice to have some legit hope for guys like Ruzicka, Phillips, Zary, Pettersen, Pospisil, Mackey, Lerby and Pelletier to make the NHL.

Kinvall too. Might be creeping up to the top of the heap even with the injury.

Well that was fun... I just did a post-game interview with Poolman and Lerby all by myself! Asking 15 questions in a row is something else... hopefully I'll be able to share it with you all soon.

Kinda had to think on my feet, haha. Didn't expect to have to ask that many... I thought there would be at least one other person on the call!

MacLean tells me that Alex Gallant is day-to-day after leaving the game in the first period... said he needs to talk to the doctors about it.

Mark Simpson has been a regular for the team to this point but was scratched to get Giorgio Estephan into the lineup against his former team. If Gallant misses any time, I could see Estephan taking his place in the interim and Simpson returning as the #4 centre.

When does Philips finally get a look with the Flames? I know he's tiny but he doesn't play tiny. It amazes me how hard he forechecks and the way he is able to protect the puck. It's time.
