That made zero sense. If he runs, the worst case scenario is first and goal. There's at least a 25% chance he scores. Earlier he threw into triple coverage for Lockett who was nowhere close. It's pretty tough to understand how a guy could go from looking like the best player in the league without question to... I don't even know what to compare this to. Testaverde?

Yep, it's going to have to be Mahomes. Which, fair enough, although if Mahomes switched places with Wilson I doubt he'd be doing much better.

Wilson read way too much of his own press. Defense has actually been ok today made some decent stops today, Rams going 3 and out on all of Wilson's (bad INts and terrible fumble). Wilson gave way too much credit to Ramsey and he's got Lockett and Metcalf annoyed at him.
Wilson pissed away the Arizona game, made some badly timed mistakes last game, and today was as bad as he's been in a while.

If he'd throw to him. Dude had like two targets, one catch for 4 yards or some such. Hard to say whether that's Wilson's fault or coaching, but given how much Wilson talks Metcalf up you wouldn't think he'd be cautious to throw to him, so I'm leaning coaching.

The heck are you talking about? The Rams didn't punt in the first half, and maybe punted once in the second half? When I turned the game off in disgust and switched to something watchable, they were at 9 out of 11 on third down conversions. That's horrendous.

Well, this I agree with you about. It coincided with the running backs all getting hurt. He can keep the team competitive with an awful defense, but he can't overcome that and a complete lack of a run game.
"Let Russ Cook" does not mean that you let him be the chef while also asking him to serve tables, pour drinks, manage the staff and balance the books. He can't do everything.
