I was just having a debate with someone about Lamar vs. Kyler Murray. If you were Arizona, and the Ravens offered you a straight up trade, would you do it? I think Lamar is clearly a better rusher, and the stats bear that out... but the gap isn't that enormous and it's likely to shrink as Kyler continues to improve. And Kyler clearly has a better arm and a better head for the game. I dunno. It's not an easy answer
Yeah it's not a slam dunk yes like it would have been. Lamar's running reminds me a bit too much of RG3 formy liking. He seems to end up in the open field and take more hits than I would like.
Murray on the other hand hardly ever gets hit. He gets what he needs and gets out of bounds.
It's similar to when Wilson and RG3 were all rookies. Wilson didn't take many hard hits compared to RG3. In time it's no contest as to who the better QB is.
I think I would rather my chances with Murray. I think he does have better receivers than Jackson, but he throws a much better ball. We saw last week he can throw his team back into a game. Hard to win 3 straight playoff games by always having the lead and running for 200 plus yads.

Lamar is a lot cheaper right now too.
I feel if you put Hopkins on the Ravens it might ale a big difference 😏 look how human Watson looks this year
Having the best WR in the game to bail you out Vs Willie Snead makes a big difference
I will say this, the Ravens running game is simply insane. The Steelers have as good a run defense as anybody, but the Ravens have such a nice run design and quality in their backfield that even they couldn't stop it. And it must be super frustrating for teams too. You know it's coming, but you can't stop it. Heck, it's extremely frustrating to watch as a fan of the other teams ... I can only imagine how deflating it must be for the defense on the field. T.J. Watt at one point lost it too yesterday on the sidelines.
Steelers faced Derrick Henry last week and even though that man is a beast, I'm sure they much prefered to deal with him. At least it's just one guy ... Ravens have Jackson, Edwards, Dobbins and Ingram, and those are all quality. Tough to stop. Can't get too aggressive either with the linebackers or they'll kill you with play action and passes up the middle. Have to find ways to force Jackson to pass or it's going to be a loooong day.
purely from a QB standpoint, I'd take Murray over Jackson for sure. I think Murray has a bigger ceiling as a passer, the option to run is a big bonus ... but I don't feel he's as dependent on running as Jackson is. But hey, having Hopkins and Fitzgerald as WRs is almost unfair. Jackson, on the other hand, feels more of a product of a really well designed offense to me. Nothing wrong with that, but he still has a lot of room to improve as a passer.

trades are starting to come in now. 49ers are trading Kwon Alexander to New Orleans for a conditional 5th and Kiko Alonso. Chargers are trading Desmond King to Tennessee for a 6th.

Jackson has been far better than I thought he would ever be but he's still a product of that system that relies on the running game to set up the pass. They will be a perennial good team as long as they have a good defense but I'm not sure they will win a Super Bowl with him at QB. Murray is a much more polished passer and will probably take you further without a top shelf defense and running game. I still wonder about his height as to me it seems at times like he has issues seeing the entire field in the pocket but man he throws one of the most beautiful balls in the game.

Suffice to say it has not been a very good year for 49ers fans since about 9 minutes left in SB54. The entire NFC West making playoffs not looking very likely anymore
Wow Tampa Bay is letting Wayne Gallman and Alfred Morris look like Tiki Barber and Ron Dayne tonight. Stop playing like an Ass Coward Brady....I bet on you to win tonight.

Man Jones isn't going to have a long career as a starter if he doesn't learn to take care of the ball. He's way too careless and it's looking like a lot of the first round QB's over the past few drafts just aren't working out.
That was a weird personal foul call. The defender sort of stopped and the receiver ran head first into the defenders head... defender gets the personal foul.
