Doesn't Officer's Club now include a ticket in 105? That might result in double counting.

That break down is super interesting. No wonder they have priced the middle so high. Even if they don't sell as many as other sections they will turn a greater profit.
If it isn't too much work, can you make another one before the season opener?
Thanks.

Nice to see the CPL commissioner and Forge head coach schmoozing Bob Young's private suite at the Ti-Cats game today...

Word is new kit for the coming season is coming in another month or so, but the guy I talked to said probably February or March. They're sticking with Macron but next year the home shirt will be red (as in "red, red" in his words!) and the away will be black. Sounds awesome to me!

Had to smile this afternoon driving on Bow Trail. I was waiting at a red light behind a vehicle with Cavalry and Foot Soldiers stickers on its back window. Kudos!

Not a fan if they ditch the army green jerseys. Those are choice colors and reflect the namesake of the team. Black is too generic. I'll reserve full judgment until I see the new kits though.

I don't like the notion of changing colours. As Ozy mentioned, red and green reflect the military motif of the club. I could see a black kit as an alternate, but I hope they don't abandon green.
Besides, now that banner the Footsoldiers have will read "Welcome to the Red Green Black Show." That's no fun!

This does sound good, I like the look of the jersey but the colour seemed....a bit off if I'm honest.

I know I'm about to be disowned as a loyal fan for this one, but I couldn't buy one. I looked at that orangey-red and it just wasn't right. It's just off and while I did want a shirt for the inaugural season, I didn't cave.
And while I'm setting myself up for abuse in my fashion sense, I wasn't a huge fan of the green away shirts either. I think they were "ok". But the one thing I didn't like is that we wore them at home a few times. I could see once or twice so everyone see's them I guess, but I'm more of a purist I guess.

Edmonton just announced the signing of 3 internationals over the age of 27 so I think that kills that rumour. Wrong again, Duane Rollins.

We're not out of the woods yet, these could be grandfathered players with options in their contracts, but its really encouraging.
Centralized scouting is a good thing, but import limits and requirements to only select young internationals from a single list is incredibly stupid and bush league. I'm very encouraged that it might not happen.

I think we can put to bed any talk that OSEG will eventually own a CPL club. 2 weeks after suspending operations on the Fury they are involved in a basketball team...
...in the CEBL. The CEBL is a coast to coast league with 7 teams that launched in 2019 with an aim of developing Canadian basketball players. Sound familiar?
From what I can gather, the CEBL has a similar ownership model to MLS, where the league owns all teams but individual franchises are operated by groups. Kind of like how MLSE "owns" Toronto FC but doesn't actually own it. I cannot find any reliable information on what OSEG's involvement is with the team but it sounds like they have moved on from soccer for good.

^ I think that I'm OK with that. It simply clears the way for a new CanPL franchise that has nothing to do with OSEG. I'm not sure what the Ottawa landscape is for investors and all of that stuff, but it is quite clear that OSEG and sulking so... move on.
Ottawa may not be the most populous city, but Ontario and Quebec in general obviously are, so there has to be someone willing to step up. It would be great to have a team in the capital, to be honest.

Does anyone know when the league has its annual stake holders meeting?

Has there been any announcement of the players not returning? I've noticed some news from other teams on non-returning players, but not for the Cavalry yet.

FC Edmonton is apparently having a locker room sale on Black Friday.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm envious of Edmonton for once!
I hope the Cavs do something similar.
