Roofing companies

Hi All,

Any recommendations for a roofing company in Calgary? Or anyone’s to avoid?

The wind tore some trim off our roof this weekend and it looks like we have some shingle damage too. Would like to get an estimate to decide if it’s worth going through insurance or not.

Niko Roofing was a very good experience for me. They gave a great quote and their staff had lots of experience and were hard working, enthusiastic, efficient and professional.

I had an insurance claim on my roof a few years ago and Meerkat Roofing was by far the cheapest option.

Stay away from Shield - they are a super shady company and they include a "you can't say anything bad in a review or we will sue you clause" in their contracts, which is why their reviews aren't terrible. They are also very expensive compared to others. (they quoted me, and my neighbor used them and they left him high and dry with a half finished job)


I used Roof Right Solutions last year, and they did an amazing job, very clean, on time, professional, and the best price of the 6 quotes I received.

I've heard good things about Epic Roofing. Guns & Hoses is another I'd take a look at.
