Playing physical against him is something the Flames need to do every time they face as it's what gets him off his game but he shouldn't have to fight anyone for that slash. That kind of mentality is what makes Oilers fans look like knuckle draggers.

Did I miss what happened to Tyler Myers for his punch/butt end to Tkachuk? That looked worse to me and comparable to Lucic's suspension last season.

I mean hes not going to fight unless maybe Johnny Gaudreau challenges him but I agree you finish EVERY check on him with exuberance.
He has to learn you don't slash one of our guys like that without consequence and retribution coming down the pipe.

Don’t be fooled by Myers punch/butt end. It really wasn’t that hard, however it was totally uncalled for and out of left field. Tkachuk did nothing to Myers and wasn’t even in his personal space.
But that is the beauty of having Tkachuk. It’s so easy for him to get under the skin of everyone on the ice, and he has the ability to make people do stupid things. It’s a gift he has and I love it!

Hard enough to draw blood and was quite shocking when it happened. You are probably right though, the 2 min penalty which they scored with one second left made my night.

why should there be a score to settle? he did something stupid, apologized right away and the action was noted by the league in case he does it again.
everyone should already have moved on.
