CP Most Anticipated Game: 2021 Edition

Just finishing up the first Hollow Knight, about 90% complete, so I am looking forward to Hollow Knight: Silksong. Timing couldn't be better.

This year I’m hoping to play Zelda BOTW. I also picked up Journey on sale and should finish that too. I’d like to play TLOU2 but 2022 is more realistic.

Journey is a single sitting game. It’s much more impactful that way in fact and I think how the creators intended it.

Not my most anticipated but I'm happy to see new Ratchet & Clank and Psychonauts games.

1. God of War Ragnarok
2. Horizon II: Forbidden West
3. Gotham Knights (PC)

I'm also looking forward to The Medium on Game Pass PC and The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes.

I don't know if I played a "new" game in 2020 other than Animal Crossing

Hitman 3, Far Cry 6 and BOTW 2 are all exciting for me. I will always fight for Hitman, it's one of the best series of all time IMO

My #1 is GTA VI if that ever gets announced

2. GT7

5. Forza 8 (?)

A few potential candidates for me (Horizon FW, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Flight Sim on Series X) but I think I'm going to go with Halo Infinite here. I'm pulling for 343 and am hoping they can deliver a stellar Halo title, as they've done great with certain parts of the formula in their previous attempts (mechanics, multiplayer, polish) but still need to come out and deliver a great campaign. I'm excited to see what new-gen hardware can do for my nostalgic self who was romping around in Halo: CE on the OG Xbox on November 15, 2001 when it launched.
