Has anyone been playing AC: Valhalla? Despite my best efforts I could not get into Origins and Odyssey, but this one is really clicking with me so far and I'm not even sure why.

That looks super impressive, but wow on the price! Still considering it, though...
I should look into this too but I picked up a framemeister ages ago, really great for old consoles but I've never used it lol. Apparently hard to get a hold of now.

Exact same situation for me. Origins and Odyssey did little for me, but I’m really enjoying Valhalla.

TLOU2, Ghosts of Tsushima, RE3, Jedi Fallen Order and Exodus Metro all downloaded today after being purchased and not played for months. Not sure where to start.
I’ve also decided to give Witcher 3 another try. But not until I finish all of the above.
I’m thinking Metro because I’m in a murderous FPS mood.

Valhalla is a great game. I actually like Odyssey the best in the series (outside of the hoard of items you pick up) as I loved the Greek timeline and Kassandra is IMO the best female bad-ass in gaming. I also loved how massive the map in Odyssey was, even though some disliked it.
Valhalla took longer for me to grow into but now that it's found it's groove it's taken over my gaming life the last little while. If they ever find the perfect blend of Valhalla, Odyssey and some of the best bits 'n' pieces from the other games, it would end up being the ultimate game.

Yeah Valhalla is really good as I just broke the 100 hour mark and still have a lot left to do. It took longer to get into compared to Odyssey or Origins but the Viking story is actually better than the story in those games once you get into it. Female Eivor isn't as good as Kassandra but she's still one of my favorite characters in the series. It's different than other games in that stealth isn't really required or needed. The easiest way to finish missions is to just go in guns a blazing which I suppose fits the Viking mold. I love the dual wielding as the combination of the Blacksmith's Hammer and a dagger is devastating. My only real gripe is that the collision detection is terrible. Moving around and climbing can be tedious as your character just stops moving against certain objects for no particular reason. Trying to climb through windows or up objects takes multiple attempts which can get frustrating. If you don't like AC games, Valhalla won't change your opinion but if you do it's well worth your time.

I've been playing Zen Pinball, which I believe became Pinball FX3 for the new generation of consoles since it was on the PS3. I have a good portion of the available tables for PS4 and they are awesome. I am waiting for the PSVR version to go on sale again so I can try that. I think Pinball VR would be pretty sweet!

What is the consensus on Fallout 76? Anyone play the Beta?
I realize this is a necropost, but I was recently looking into this game. I just recently started playing Fallout 4 and am really enjoying it, and thought that I might get Fallout 76 having not heard anything about it. What an absolute disaster that was. Not surprising that Bethesda was bought out after that, but I am surprised that they survived at all. This video about the release is pretty hilarious actually:
Apparently it is much better to play now since they improved the game with DLCs. Has anyone given it a whirl recently?
The solo playing is supposedly fine now, which is good because I don't like MMO or co-op play. Do you still have to use real money to get game currency though? Having trouble finding a clear answer on that.
