Right my memory is bad. But that's the problem with the 8 million time lines thing, it makes old people like me become badly confused.

Ok so I watched Wandavision. It's good. It's weird. But its unique and I am OK with that. I don't mind seeing them try new things, especially when its 'free' on a streaming service.

I had basically no expectations going in. But I would say so so far Elizabeth Olson has done an amazing job in her role, she is stealing the show for sure.

Spoiler!

I watched Terminator Dark Fate yesterday, and I got to say as an action film it's pretty good BUT as a Terminator film the more I think about it, the less I like it. Just completely undoes the importance of the first two films.

This will probably be the last Terminator film ever and that's okay, the first two are perfect and I can always go back and rewatch them. Now if we could only get a proper 4K transfer for T2.....

This show would work great if when the hero's go up against a bad guy, everyone freezes for a second and you hear the god sound of dice being thrown.

Finally watched Tenet. The movie development is probably an ironic mirror of the plot.. half way through they realized what they'd done was a big mistake but had to follow through with it to the.. beginning..

Since that's going to be released directly to HBO Max and not a theatrical release, I assume it's covered by the Crave distribution deal for HBO Max content and will be available in Canada the same day.

I was pretty neutral on the first release so unless Snyder really forks it up, it has to be an improvement.

I've said it before, I will say it again.

It will not surprise me if this is good. I mean...people have been clamoring for this for years...I dont know why. I think Zack Snyder has made all of 1 good movie in his career.

However...if it were me...I would see that this is a cheat.

You released the movie. It sucked. It sucked long and it sucked hard. But now you were given 4 years to completely fix it.

So this shouldnt suck. This should be good. If it isnt good then you once more go back to the issue of fundamental problems.

Kind of like WW84. It wasnt like they didnt have a budget. It wasnt as though they didnt have time and rushed it out. It was just garbage.

This is why 'They Snyder Cut' is a complete and total cheat.

"The Justice League movie was total garbage....but that wasnt my vision!! This!! This is the movie I meant to make but also absolutely didnt at the time!!"

Its releasing a product that everybody hated and then saying "No, no, no! I didnt mean to give you that! I meant to give you this!! After having 4 years to fix all the things that sucked about it!"

Only about 10% of what you saw in the theatrical cut was shot by Snyder, the rest was Wheedon. This is more like what happened: Snyder shoots a movie , gets kicked off when he's like 95% done then Wheedon is brought in and rushes to put out a film using almost entirely new footage. I don't know how you can blame Snyder for anything that happened with the first JL.

Yeah...because Snyder is an Oscar winning Director and Joss Whedon is a talentless hack.

I think that's an unfair assessment of the situation but I still lol'd.

In this case, I think the studio was going to ruin this no matter who was in the director's chair.

Sure...all I'm saying is that they got a 4-year Mulligan.

"This is the movie I meant to make!! And if I was in charge this would be the movie you got....4 years ago!"

Uh huh. And I have a bridge for sale in Brooklyn.

Is it wrong that the only thing that really bothers me about the Synder Cut, is that they will do this, but they won't re-release a version of Ladyhawke with the crap synth techno soundtrack removed and replaced by anything James Horner has lying around the house?
