Default RIP Matt "Guitar" Murphy

Talented and decent man - he shared a pitcher of beer with me between sets at a show in London, Ontario in the late 80s. You may remember him from The Blues Brothers.

My friends and I loved him after seeing Blues Brothers when we were kids.

As did I, I was a huge fan after Blues Brothers. Was glad to have met him.

Wow, I had totally missed this one. Of course loved him in Blues Brothers. But also a big fan with his work in the Chicago blues scene. Love all the old Chess records stuff and he worked with all the big names that started there.
