The problem with playgrounds zones is there is no evidence that residential collisions are more likely to happen near schools and playgrounds.

From what I've heard crowchild overpass is basically a toll booth of construction zone photo right now, and will be for the foreseeable future

I've seen them many mornings on both sides of the road getting drivers headed in either direction. It's like a night club with strobe lights going off steady.

I was one of the dancers at that strobe party - not a fun way to spend $250. Cash grab as at time when no workers present.

Don’t ever pay full price on tickets whether it’s photo radar or after being pulled over! So if I may be permitted a shameless plug, a good friend of mine fights tickets for a living. PM me for details.

I got a $270 ticket on crowchild bridge over memorial and it got knocked down to $100.

Well we’re pretty good friends and it was my first ticket so it was free. Not sure if I can swing that deal for everyone. Generally it depends on how much the ticket was and how many demerits.

You can just go to the court date and the attorney there can give you an idea of what you can do. I got my ticket knocked down a few demerit points and $$$ just by asking.

Wait, I thought traffic revenues were provincial jurisdiction. The money goes to the city?

I'm not really sure, but that's what the OP said.

From the CPS FAQ on it:

Quote:
Where does the money from Automated Traffic Enforcement go?

Fifteen per cent of the total fine amount is given to Victim Services, 16.67 per cent goes to the Provincial Government, and the balance of the fine goes to the Municipal Government. If there is a late payment penalty attached to the fine, the province receives the surcharge amount associated with the particular ticket.
From the Intersection cameras:

Quote:
Where does the money from the Intersection Safety Cameras go?
