Not to gloat too much (and I promise this'll be the last time) but I did tell everyone when I got home, that the Flames would pot 4 in the third en route to a rout

Hard to tell but yeah he was clearly giving it to Gaudreau who just vacated that spot

Could you imagine this place if they folded up shop at 3-1 and faded away in the third? Yikes.
Glad they pulled it out. Hopefully by the time they play next, they’re still in a playoff spot.
Two of next three against Boston is going to be tough though.

Waiting in the fitting room and making an effort to look genuinely interested, while the lady’s trying on gazillion of freakin’ dresses that all look good... Why do I always miss the good games?..

Turned off the volume and the Flames scored five straight goals. I’ll take it!

Just let Talbot play a few games IMO. Rittich hasn’t been as bad as his recent numbers suggest, but the team has been awful in front of him, especially at home.

For a "sick" guy I though Backs had a pretty damn good showing. Lots of drive and worked hard into the corners. Always enjoy him on the PK, but I thought he was terrific in the offensive area this aft. Nice to see.

I thought Bennet passed into an area for the RD (not sure which one) who just coasted by to the bench. Weird play.

SOrry if this has been mentioned, but Mangiapane's due for a raise. He's everybody's hero right now but he's going to be in tough to hit 35 points for the season I'd bet.
He made $715K this year, which is pretty sad. 3 years to UFA. What's he gonna get? 3 @ 2.75 (ie. Bennett money)? More? Less?
He's already a better player than Bennett, to be honest, but he's got the kind of numbers Bennett had when he signed his deal (for which he is now overpaid).

It's true. Bennett just wants to taste your delicious sadness, raising expectations just to miss them by a mile yet again.

The real question is what do you do when Ryan comes back? Absolute last thing I want to do is bump Bennett when he's looking fantastic in that 3C spot. But at the same time Ryan's been so solid all year I have a hard time putting him on the 4th line.
