Finally a great game!
First shot and the team is down. Some key things I saw...
Tkatchuk fight right away. Lucic smokes rousel in a scrum. Notice how the scrums stopped after??? This is such a underestimated part of the snowflake game today.
Backlund hard on the opposition best C, in spite of offensive trouble. Do what u gotta do.
Entire d core looked tremendous. Brodie and andersson were amazing!
Dube, there's something there, but finally a great game in months from that kid.
Would be great if 13/23/28 could be a top line again.

First regulation win since January 9th (Minnesota, 11 games ago) and first game the Flames have won by more than 1 goal since December 27th (Edmonton, 17 games ago).
Flames played a very strong game tonight.

YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
After the Flames couldn’t get that fourth goal in the second period, I admit I was terrified to turn the game on for the third period. When I finally did I was happy to see it was 4-2 and then Monahan made it 5-2 right after that.
No lengthy analysis about what went right or predictions about whether it will continue. Just enjoy it CP!!!
