My Love for Wushu movies is going to taint things a bit here.

1. Hero
2. House of Flying Daggers
3. Fist of Legend
4. Mongol
5. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

HM: The Curse of the Golden Flower, Night Watch/Day Watch, Run Lola Run, Godzilla movies in general, 13 assasins, Seven Samurai.

You should read the thread instead of posting endless video clips. Downfall was mentioned 3 times, in the first few posts as well.

No need to be a jerk! Yes I missed that it was mentioned 3 times - my bad.

As for those video clips, if you watched them you'd realise both were good movies

I've seen them…they're great! And I didn't think I was being a jerk, just pointing out the obvious.

Pan's Labrynth and City of Lost Children are good picks.

I like watching ex-Yugo films to help me with holding onto my language skills.

Here's a few Croatia language films worth checking out:

Halima's Path

Lea and Darija

No One's Son

Vegetarian Cannibal

Underground (Serbian)

No Man's Land (Bosnian)

Does The Expendables series count? I can't understand a word anyone says, so they must be foreign language films.

Cinema Paradiso is the best foreign film I've ever seen.

1. City of God
2. Life is Beautiful
3. Kung Fu Hustle
4. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
5. Hero

Haven't seen a ton of films. Crouching Tiger makes the list because it was my first real taste of that style of martial arts movies. Ip Man, Pan's Labyrinth or Let the Right One In could have made my list over Hero. Other than that there's not many foreign language films I can recall watching.
