Hopefully we get really lucky here and this guy turns into something good. Like I feel like we are due dammit! We are Flames fans, we have been tortured for years, let us have this dammit!

Highly unlikely as he doesn't have a NTC so where he went was not up to him.

So far Conroy is group plucked Sharangovich from Jersey and had him improve in CGY.

They plucked Pachal and Greer off waivers and they've looked good.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and we'll see if this guy has something with a bigger opportunity in CGY

It's funny, the season started with Milstein talking #### about the Flames over Zadorov, and now he has more clients with the Flames than any other team.

haha it doesn't matter, it's not my money, but it's confusing that this contract is above league minimum.

Daniil looks like Hanifin light based on KHL and AHL stats.

After seeing Conroy talk about him, this is a guy they have liked a long time.

One thing i swill say about CC thus far is he sees what he likes and when he gets it, he holds onto it for a while.

5. Daniil Miromanov
To say that Miromanov's career thus far has been a whirlwind would be an understatement. Not only did he bounce around North America and Eastern Europe chaotically for a number of years, but he was also originally a winger and only recently switched fulltime to defence. Despite some expected growing pains, the returns to date have been very impressive overall, and you can tell that he's still just scratching the surface of how good he can become once he fully adjusts to his new position. His heavy shot is a serious weapon, especially with the offensive instincts that carried over from his time as a forward, and he uses his strength and reach well to win defensive battles. Miromanov has an abundance of remaining unmined upside, and it's exciting to think of how good the final product could be after a few more years of stable, focused growth within the same organization.

It's kinda funny, a few years ago, all the Swedes belongs to us and now all the Russians belongs to us.

I don’t get it. Is he a RW or D? When did he switch over?

On Barn Burner, they said he switched over in junior. But it looks like he has been listed as a D on every roster since he was in the OJHL in 2014.
So it's been a while.

Thanks

That's actually a promising write up. Hopefully he can blossom with the Flames and a bigger opportunity.
