The best part is that the Leafs and Oilers drafted right before he was picked.

Well. In Gridin's defense, I'm sure he'd have tons of points if he played on a line with the best player in major junior too.
Not 3 per game or anything, but I think he'd have 2 easily.

It will also be interesting to see how he looks in future years.
He's come in on an absolute heater, but he's also physicallly very mature for the OHL and was playing in the KHL last year so this is a huge step down for him in competition.
Crazy numbers but he has a bit of an advantage of being a step above this league physically right now for sure.

He's 6'3 225Lbs which is crazy for a 19 year old.

11-3 Final. Crazy part is Saginaw outshot Brantford 34-29.
As far as I can Tell, Starting goalie got pulled after letting in a handful, and the goalie that came in in relief let in 5 goals on 7 shots!! So they yanked him and put the starting goalie back in. Lol
What a tire fire.

Great wheels, soft hands, and a nice little taunt to the enemy bench.

I assume no word on Basha? I hope he gets back for playoffs. A Calgary-Med-Hat playoff series would be fun!

I haven't heard any updates in a while about Basha, but the last I heard was don't expect him back unless the Tigers make the finals.
