Canadian Men's Basketball team posted on Instagram today that they went to visit Vimy Ridge. They left a wreath and toured the site. I think it's really great they did that.

I’m rooting for Gabriel Medina!

His image and more so his ride from round three was amazing!
I watched for a while (two full rounds) but couldn't really get into it. There's just so much downtime and lots of good looking waves (to my untrained eye of course) were skipped. There's just a lack of rhythm to the whole thing.

Kind of disappointing that I turn the tv on at 7:00 and CBC/TSN/SN are all showing the same thing - gymnastics. So much happened today, can’t you mix it up a bit?

Gem app (for any streaming device) is the only way to go. Pick any event from any day, including today, and watch. But I hear you. There are 3 channels, show us 3 different things.

Definitely understandable, conditions were poor today. From my understanding they will do the medal rounds on Saturday. That tells me they have a bump in swell coming which can make all the difference at this specific break.

Trust me - if the wave conditions are firing - these people are standing next to insanity. The wave can be truly terrifying.

I hope for a big day on Saturday.
