looking at the rankings you can see how big of an upset that was!
1. NZL - 126 POINTS
2. AUS - 124 POINTS
3. FRANCE - 104 POINTS
4. USA - 85 POINTS
5. CANADA - 80 POINTS
Even the win against the French in the QF was big, not as big as this one though! So proud of these girls! Give those Kiwis a run for their money in the finals!!!

Well, they have knocked off 3 and 2 from that list. I can't see another win against NZ but I'm not going to write them off this time. Regardless will be a silver medal at minimum, which is amazing!
This is what makes the Olympics so great. Bravo girls!

I think you should write them off again personally. It seems to be working

The Canadian Women are in a bit of a golden age.
Currently ranked 2nd in the world in XVs, our U20s just went 3-0 in Wales against top sides
While Canada has beaten sides above them this isn’t completely unexpected, it really is more of a possible instead of probable discussion.
I thought the loss of Krissy Scurfield would have been more of an issue, but it is good to see them continue to perform.
Also, love seeing Piper Logan a fellow Calgary Hornets RFC putting up a tournament like this.

Women's Gymnastics Finals are about to start. Excited to see Simone Biles. Canada is also there competing. Oh wow, Andrade is there also for Team Brazil. Also China's team who won gold previously. This is going to be quite the competition!
