Yeah....look great.

Not sure why but watching this version of basketball is so much more entertaining than NBA.

FIBA rules and officiating are way better than the NBA. I agree it is a more entertaining product.

Quick turn around, McIntosh is still in her medal ceremony outfit

Worried about the foul situation for Canada a bit, but playing really well overall. I love that this team has several guys in SGA, Brooks, Murray and Barrett, who have proved themselves as big-game players.

Other than the stretch where they left a few wide-open threes, it's really been an excellent start.

Dang, no more medals in swimming today.. 4×100m freestyle final just finished: women finish 4th, men in 7th. That's a tough turnaround for Summer McIntosh! She put in a good swim but they were already way behind by the time it was her & Oleksiak's turn.

Back to Canada vs Greece basketball, impressive first half for Canada.

Beach Volleyball has started on SN1 with Bansey and Bukovec facing the Americans. The venue looks amazing at night!

I've only watched the 2nd half of this basketball game, and I feel like Canada has had 77 fouls since I turned it on..

Greece clutching and grabbing. Back to 10 point lead.

Size is going to be an issue. Not sure why they didn't at least bring Edey for the end of the bench. I'm not sure he'd even get that badly exposed in the Int'l game.

I believe Edey said no so he could focus on his rookie season but I agree it would be really nice to have his size.

Pretty much a best case scenario for the basketball team: Get the win; avoid injuries; no super-heavy minutes for anyone; get tested by a good opponent; play through a tough whistle; counterpunched any time Greece got close. Yeah, they weren't yet firing on all cylinders offensively, especially the bench, and they need to clean up the fouls... but I'd rather them get tested early than coast and forget what they need to do to win.

Any team that needs to produce through their guards and wings is going to struggle against Canada, which is everyone except USA, France, and Serbia.
