I'm not sure USA wins that game without Steph Curry going off in the last 3 minutes.

Wow.

That last make was beyond undefendable.

Anyone else and you are complaining that it’s a terrible shot attempt.

That was an awesome atmosphere when it got down to 3 pts. Place would've exploded if France could've tied it up.

Just not much you can do when Chef Curry starts to cook.

Wemby pretty choked up. Awesome to see that he believes they could have won. What a cool experience in Paris. Hopefully he rips their hearts out in LA in four years.

I hope by he you mean we.... I'd rather see SGA and Barrett take down the gold in LA. Wemby Can beat the US for Bronze.

I gotta admit, I tuned in hoping to watch an upset. But watching a clutch performance like that was pretty awesome too. Good stuff

Seeing Steph overshadow LeMe on the big stage again was great.

USA needed clutch players which LeMe isn’t.

that last Curry 3 pointer is just beyond crazy. LeBron was wide open on the play, but KD still gives it to Steph. Insane shot.

Wow.
Or France being abysmal from the free throw line.

Canada is better than France. They are arguably the second best team in the world right now. Just lacking a few bigs, but their perimeter shooting is elite. SGA was second in MVP voting last year. Canada is no joke at the world stage anymore. This is no longer a team with Steve Nash and 11 nobodies. They will clearly have medal expectations in 2028.

That was pretty cool to experience the USA winning basketball at a bar in the US. People were jacked up.

Canada would be outstanding under NBA rules (especially with our 1v1 defenders), but I just don't see it in FIBA. Euros grow up playing more FIBA style so its like riding a bike to switch back to it. I actually think France and Serbia might have the optimal set up with a few NBA stars surrounded by Euro All-Stars. Even little things like fewer stoppages and TV timeouts are harder to adjust to (but one of the US's biggest advantages with their bench).

I'd say that offense just looked 'hard' for Canada throughout the tournament, and we were flattered by SGA saving the day a lot. I don't really see enough size in the pipeline to help things, but who knows.

Would have been cool to see France the underdog win here but I’m not planning to cheer for them four years from now. They mean no more to me than Serbia, Germany etc.

Once Steph gets into the zone, he's impossible to defend
