Different strokes for different folks I guess. Cassie has improved every season she's called games. Maybe there is a correlation between her and her hubby working for the Flames but does it matter?

I'd rather Cassie call a game than Randorf or god forbid the other TSN transplant. Both Vancouver/Edmonton fanboys.

Can't please everyone I guess.

You make valid points, she is getting better, ill give her that. I would rather her then Randorf 100%

Or DeBrusk.

Can't stand either of them.

Cassie is fine. She talks a bit too much, but continues her learning, and her voice modulation has improved dramatically since she started. Remember - everyone needs to start somewhere and improve from that point, and she has done that (IMNSHO).

Frequently I just mute the stream/TV. It's as good as being there - almost - but I wish there was a feed that was just - and only - arena sounds. There's a market for that and I'd (almost?) pay for it.

When something odd happens, I can tap into the commentator noise to find out what's going on. That's fine by me. Sometimes I just queue up Wills on the radio and sync the two. Or occasionally watch the other teams' feeds.

I just wish the streams were more consistently good and stable. I refuse to purchase Sportsnet and Rogers' hokey products until they improve, and am debating giving up my Bell satellite account altogether. (Even when in Calgary and I supposedly have 300 MB streaming available they can be pretty....crappy.)

She’s not bad if you turn your TV down all the way.

She won a couple Olympic golds and six World Championships prior to her husband even getting a job with the Flames, but the answer is obviously yes.

Back in my day we had to listen to Bart Dailey and Doug Barkley on the radio. Peter didn’t arrive until the following year.

It is sad that the outdoor game is 1 month before the grey cup

Maybe Kevin Lowe can ask her for some tips about winning?

I'll go out on a limb and say the outdoor game will be advertised for 4k broadcast, but of course it'll be watered down to sportsnet standards of about 1.5k

That is the only option...or watch the other teams feed.
