When Bettman was in town for a STH luncheon a couple of years ago, he mentioned that he has a couple of Labradoodles. Must be the official dog of the NHL.

Back on the topic of the thread, I really liked Monahan’s answers to questions about the breakdown in the playoffs:
Q: What happened and what needs to change?
Monahan: The team is good enough. We need to be harder to play against, and we need to peak at the right time.
Q: How do you need to improve?
Monahan: Commit to playing a 200-foot game, be harder to play against, the points will come.
