Brescasin is in concussion protocol as well. The Stamps are already the walking wounded 2 games in.

Stamps are getting a second opinion on Bo's injury after the MRI, that can't be good.
If I were a betting man I would think he's probably done for the year.

If it is indeed a torn pec, then yup...the season is over for him.

Tre Roberson is fighting a hip injury.
I would be tempted to sit him this weekend and rest him.
The injuries this year are getting crazy.

The crazy part is that they have only played two games. Two games!!! It's already at the point where the roster they field in Regina could be easily confused as the first preseason game roster with a handful of starters surrounded by backup players. Stamps have never had it easy with injuries but this season is by far looking like maybe the worst season ever.

Great piece from today on the CFL site featuring Mike Reilly opening up about his Mental Health.
Quote:
It hit me as soon as my head hit the pillow. The only way I can describe it is a full-blown panic attack.
I can’t even say that my heart was racing. It was like it was trying to beat its way out of my chest. It was racing faster than I’d ever felt it before.
It felt like everything was kind of closing in around me. I couldn’t breathe. I honestly in that moment thought I was going to die. It was the scariest thing I’ve ever felt in my entire life.
I felt frozen, like I was stuck in my bed. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t do anything and I thought that was going to be it. I thought I was going to die. I remember ripping myself out of the position I was in and rolling over, turning the light on, terrified.
I didn’t know what to think, I didn’t know what the hell was happening. It felt like it lasted an hour. It probably lasted 20 seconds. Probably not even.
Emily came in from the bathroom and I remember thinking, ‘I don’t know what caused that, I’m still feeling the effects of it and I don’t want to close my eyes. If it happens again I am going to die.’

I had the exact same thing happen to me in my late 20’s. It’s a horrible thing to deal with if you don’t get help.

This doesn't sound promising at all.

I'm thinking the Calgary doctors told him he is done for the year, and he is hoping they are wrong.

My guess as well.
Torn pectoral and you are looking at 6+ months of recovery.

I'm living life optimistically and they're saying it's nothing crazy and he feels like its a bit worse than that.

Ouch. Whatever happens, I'm sure Arbuckle and Cozart will get an opportunity to play, and I'm interested to see how they do. A solid run game would go a long ways to helping them out -- it's been non-existent thus far.

That's kinda the impression I got from his interview/what Farhan Lalji was saying on TSN yesterday. Doesn't want to rush back only for it to be re-injured again.

From
@calstampeders spokesman on Bo Levi Mitchell being placed on 6-game injured list: “That’s a possibility but has not been decided yet. We are still waiting for test results.” #CFL #Stamps

As others are speculating, it's likely he's been told he needs season ending surgery, but he likely wants to see if he can play through it and have the surgery in December or thereabouts and this is why he's seeking the second opinion.
