It got taken down, but a Youtube channel used AI to narrate Warhammer 40k lore in David Attenborough's voice. The voice was spot on and the tone and inflexion was exactly like the "Planet Earth" series. I don't really care for Warhammer at all, but this was amazing.

Rewatching season 1.

Since the first run, I've read the book and binged on the Targaryen lore.

Going back with more familiarity has made the rewatch immensely enjoyable. What an excellent season of television that was. Seeing the foreshadowing of tensions in the earlier episodes is cool. A lot went over my head the first time around. I shouldn't have done it this far ahead of season 2 though, the anticipation is going to be killer.

There is definitely an extra layer of fun if you've read Fire and Blood and seeing which of the 3 accounts noted in the book the show will mix or blend etc.

Well sure it does. Martin is making truckloads from his completed works, probably far more than anything he made from the actual books, you gotta think that's affecting his motivation.

I suspect there's going to be a few fun curveballs along the way with what ends up being the "true" accounting of events.

i.e. twins duel, the gods eye, among so many others.
