How many people are going to watch CanPL around the world?

They have the Chinese Super League and Liga MX. CanPL will just be icing on the cake. I think they'll be fine.

So, who's coming to the Rose & Crown Wednesday? I think we should pack the place. Kildare's will show the game as well.

Question - Is this type of game included in season tickets in Vancouver? Like are we looking at the usual nearly full lower bowl at BC place for MLS league games or is it an extra game that they have to sell from scratch that will likely have minimal interest with Whitecaps fans?

I can't speak for Vancouver, but TFC gives these games to season ticket holders for free.

Any update on Malonga's status. They really seem to be lacking on the attack without him.

I wonder as the league grows in popularity, if DAZN May eventually seek the rights to the CPL.

Onesoccer seems like a Pied Piper startup that hemorrhages money in the hopes of being bought by a larger company.
But I'm glad it exists.

Well, it is owned by a larger company. Mediapro had revenues of just under €2 billion last year.

I am also very grateful for OneSoccer and I think it is necessary for the league's success. I have also tried to wrap my head around the costs of having a multi-camera setup at every game, broadcasting live, to what I assume is a relatively small subscriber base (for now).
I do think that, once the league proves it has some appeal among viewers and advertisers, that some games might get picked up by DAZN, TSN, or similar, and maybe more on CBC. That would be a win-win for everyone involved.

Rumours going around that the Whitecaps are going after Pasquotti and Camargo in this transfer window.

This would be a blow to the Cavalry's depth, but from a league prosperity perspective this is good news.

I think it was discussed briefly before, but how exactly do transfers work in this league? Is there a benefit ($$$) to Cavalry selling players, or is it more of a league-controlled system? It would be a shame if good scouting and/or development isn't compensated fairly.
As a fan or Norwich City (English yo-yo club that jumps between the Premier League and Championship), one of their greatest strengths is that they have a "class A" academy, so even though they don't always play at the top level, they develop players. A major source of revenue, particularly when not in the Prem or being the beneficiaries of parachute payments after relegation, is that they develop, sell, re-invest the proceeds, and repeat.
Cavalry have a pretty good development system laid in comparison with other clubs, so it makes sense that players will be getting noticed by MLS and beyond. That really is the whole point of the CanPL, I suppose.

That would be crushing though, particularly Pasquotti.

Also, I'm not sure that the CPL wants this to happen mid-season. It would basically cement it as a minor league in the eyes of everybody. Because sacrificing potential success for the benefit of a higher level team is a hallmark of that.
