Yeah, someone with his professional career would consider that to be a highlight.

Its like the jocks in High School who will always fondly remember 'The Big Game.'

It is an interesting insight though, what it means to the players. It makes sense, for the current players this is the biggest competition at the highest level that they've ever played...so far.

Also speaks volumes to the idiocy that is the Edmonton Oilers by refusing to release both Dry-saddle and Pool-party to play in the WJC. Neither were worth keeping around the team and both were/will be sent down after the WJC is over. Just more great development from Siberia.

No wait, in the real Siberia you at least know there's someplace worse you could be sent to!
