Normally I wouldn't feel sorry for a child of the rich and famous but I sympathize with these kids suffering what has to be a bizarre upbringing with such a weirdo for a father who may or may not have been a pedophile and the rest of the crazies in the Jackson family.

Not to mention that she's clearly not her "father's" child.
Of the 3 of his "children", only one is even possibly his:

Being a father is much more than what people see on the surface. You don't have to be biologically linked to be a true father. Any kid that has been part of a good foster home or adopted will tell you the same.
I get the joke guys, but we're talking about a little girl that attempted to take her own life.

I feel terrible for her. Depression is a very real thing, add on teenage angst as well as her fathers death a constant reminder/thrown in her face over & over again with all the lawsuits MJ's estate tries to go through with. Not to mention the new alligations against him. It would be awful. I really hope she gets some real help and the hell away from that family for a while.

I wasn't making a joke.
I don't dispute that being a father is much more than being a sperm donor. However, MJ has lied to his children about their paternity. I don't know about you, but constantly wondering who my real father was and which of my father's associates had plowed my mother would mess me up. It's one of several inappropriate things MJ did to his children, including naming one of them "Blanket".
The only reason it might seem like there is a "joke" like tone to my post, is because the truth of the matter is beyond ridiculous.
And it's obvious that as MJ's children reach the age when they begin to understand the reality of their situation, they are having difficulty dealing with it.

As soon as she old enough (and can collect her many millions from inheritance) she should move as far away from that crazy family as she can.

I dont know, it may seem callous but the answer seems pretty simple to me:
- Collect many millions
- Change name
- Move anywhere you want in the entire world
- Sip mai-tais on the beach

Pretty tough to do if you love your family and the problem is external to the family.
It could be that this was a pretty big cry for help, it sounds like she tried to OD on a non lethal drug, and then cut herself with a meat cleaver and then called for help.
when your that age, and your father is that famous for both good (music) and bad (touching kids) reasons, its not like you can just ignore it. Add to that she was supposedly being hammered via twitter and other media, and you probably become pretty vulnerable.
As far as the social media thing it just seems that its become the ultimate conduit for bullies to attack from the shadows, its become a fairly useless tool because it doesn't have an enforceable code of conduct.
Keepin it real is all cool and that, but its literally become a bully cannon for idiots who crave to attack while remaining in the shadows.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if cyber bullying becomes a felony offense, especially if someone kills themselves because of it.

I can understand that to a degree, but I have fairly good knowledge of internet bullying as I've had two people very close to me be bullied and they got through it very successfully.

- Shutdown Twitter
If you give the flame no oxygen the fire dies.
These things are not so crucial to us that we cant do without them.
Let people bully an unresponsive wall to their heart's content.

I get that, and I'm totally onside with it. But for some reason the really vulnerable can't seem to do that. I think its a double edged sword where everyone craves being liked etc, so they can't turn away from a Twitter or facebook.

That's further victimizing the victim though, isn't it? Taking something away from them that they've (likely) done nothing to deserve having it taken away.
It's probably the first thing I would do if I were in the same situation (removing myself from all social media), but you don't take a kid out of school for bullying, you make them keep going.
Also makes me wonder, similar to the old tree falling in the forest...if the bullying victim ceases interaction with their social media pages, and the bully still keeps at it, is it still bullying if the victim isn't directly receiving the messages?

What a ridiculous post. Putting aside the question of the children's biological paternity (we have no idea), how do you know if he sat his kids down and told them about their biological parents? You're calling him a bad father and a liar, because you personally haven't been told the facts. Furthermore, you're accusing every adoptive parent of being bad parents and liars if they don't make the truth known to their children. Or at least if they don't make the truth known to you.
