haha that song is so great. Super Mario on speed, a bar piano and great guitar riffs. Total madness, I love it.

I echo the "I hope to see them live" sentiment. Those girls are simply amazing.

That live video doesn't do it justice, but the bass line for that song is just ridiculous. Plus he's the most insane looking of the group

Just finished watching Rob Flynn tell us that Machine Head is breaking up. Sucks so much. I am away when they are here in October and I was out of town for the last show as well.

Paradise Lost has become one of my favourite bands recently. Some decent variety in their music too. Death/Doom Metal, Gothic/Doom Metal, Gothic/Rock.

I think it's more of a this version of the band. Over the years they have replaced guitarists/bassists etc many times. Phil Demmel and Dave Maclean are leaving the band, Rob and Jared will continue most likely with some other guitar/drummers.

Kind of digging Yesternight, a new band out of Poland. Not sure I'd class them as metal but some edge to them; remind me of Votum or Katatonia.

only recently started to listen to them and they are awesome. Not Babymetal awesome (few are lol), but still. Wish they'd take more time between releasing stuff though, their albums have quite a few fillers on them. The bassist is fantastic.

I was big into Soilwork in the early 2000's, but then they fell off my radar right up until this popped up on Google music and blew me away

Really looking forward to their new album in January

Soil work won't fool me again. They Taylor one song per album to hook you. Then you spend the money and the rest is poop.

I was so excited to see them live back in 2012 or 13 I think. I walked out mid way through their set. It was crap. Their openers were way better. Pig Destroyer and Darkane. Check them out.

Well you don't have to worry about that if you use Google Music for everything, I'll never buy a single album again

listening to quite a bit of power metal lately. Usually not necessarily my cup of tea, but I did see Hammerfall and Armoured Dawn live last week and they were awesome. So maybe it's just a phase

anyway, this is a band from Italy I quite enjoy right now. The girl on lead guitar is 17 apparently ... crazy amount of talent.

I saw Ice Nine Kills last March at the Palace and they were great live. Lead singer has a fantastic voice with a lot of range and their music is pretty catchy after a few listens. Their new album is kind of a horror concept album and it's a lot of fun and the extended version videos play into each other;
