If the team plays like that they can beat anyone. Offensively they performed as a complete unit - with a lot of their goals coming from plays off-ball. Hard picks that allowed the shooter to change their angle or lane to get a good look.
King looked good for a guy who hasn't played in a long time. More of a playmaker than a shooter - but a complete player overall. If he can get up to speed he will be a huge addition for the team in the playoffs.
Hopefully Poulin isn't badly injured. One of the most genuine guys in the sport.

I have never seen so many shots hit the post as I did last night. That could easily have been a 20-18 game.

And definitely on Poulin. Hopefully his injury isn't remotely as bad as it looked live.

I missed the Swarm game, but the Necks looked solid last night against the Rush. Del Bianco was solid and our shooters were getting some great looks. Not sure if Matthews and Church were having an off game or our defense was that good, but they seemed like a non factor.

Still a small chance for a home playoff game, go Mammoth next week.

Rush have goaltending issues, and look more vulnerable than they have in a few years.

Mammoth come out of nowhere to beat the Rush in OT. Down 7-3 after 3 quarters, they come back to win it 11-10 in OT. Great finish, Rush tied it late on a bit of an iffy goal and killed off a penalty in OT. Mammoth never gave up, Ward came up big.

If the Necks can beat the Seals Monday (Monday???) they can host the west final. Here's hoping.

Sounds like it was a heck of game, bummed I missed that Monday night playoff action.

NLL has to be choked at the arena situation, 5000 fans in San Diego last night. Betting they would have had a way bigger crowd for a weekend game. 8400 or so for their final home game. NLL's website won't show the schedule for anything earlier for reasons I can't understand.

8900 for the Swarm-Rock game is a bit better.

Del Bianco seems to have shaken off whatever wasn't working for him mid-season. Dobbie should be MVP. Getting Jesse King back late in the season seems to be a plus. Couple of goals off transition last night doesn't hurt. Feel pretty good about the game Friday.

No idea if I can actually make the game, both of my kids have games that night.

King is a great all around player and I have little doubt this hot streak times with them.
On paper this looks like an ideal path to the final - and certainly preferred over the Rush. But the Mammoth are really good defensively. The leading Roughneck scorer for this season against the Mammoth? Not Dobbie. Not Dickson.
Riley Lowen.
They did a number on the big guns for the most part.
Personally this is big for me as I will be doing pbp for the game. Games like this are the ones you work for as a broadcaster. A chance to call a big moment in a big game.

That was an outstanding game, top to bottom. Delbs was fantastic, but really the whole team pulled it together - offence, defense and transition. Refs let them play for the most part, I maintain Salmana's hit was clean.

King was a great pickup this season, just watching what he can create on offence is a treat.

Would rather play the Rock, but really either opponent is going to have a tough time with the Necks if they keep playing like this. It's a cliche, but they are absolutely peaking at the right time.

Can't wait for next weekend.

Three game (in theory) final. Game one down east next weekend, game 2 two weeks from today at the Dome, game three (if needed) back down east.

The final would HAVE to be picked up by Sportsnet or TSN, right?

Correct.

NLL Finals – East vs. West Division winners in a best two of three game series. The highest remaining seed will host games one and three, if necessary.

In my view, an under-rated part of this hot streak is Jesse King.
He is such a complete player. Physical and does a lot of the right things away from the ball to free up space for Dickson. If the guy can stay healthy, he's a superstar. He's what Tyler Digby should have been.
The Roughnecks are going to need more out of the depth scorers against Buffalo. I liked Pace's game, but Loewen and Dan Taylor were pretty ineffective. They need them to chip in so teams just don't key on Dobbie and Dickson.
Buffalo is scary though with Evans, Smith and Small...that's as good a 3 headed monster as there is in the league.
Should be a great final. I'd love to see this team get a championship. There's a lot of really quality guys on the team: Dickson, Dobbie, MacRae, Harnett, Bell, Currier, Manning, Burton. Some of those guys are still haunted by losing in the final to Rochester.
Go and get that ring boys.

Any news on your end about television for the final?
