From Linkin Park’s third album “Minutes to Midnight”:
Bleed It Out, Shadow of The Day, What I’ve Done
All three were released as singles.

I love Soundgarden and have a Soundgarden song on every mix I've made since the early 90s; however, Spoonman makes me instantly angry. I hate it and think it's terrible. It gets under my skin in a millisecond and I have to jump for the stereo dial. The video was equally awful.
But a spoon solo? I swear to this day they did the song as a joke. It's preposterous.

Good thread. I'll have to give some more thought and add when I think of them, but in the meantime since I'm currently listening to The Weeknd's new EP, I'll drop two from his album Beauty Behind the Madness.
Tell Your Friends > Often > The Hills
and
Dark Times > Prisoner > Angel

I feel your 5, 6, 7 is just about perfect there.
Fully Completely by the Tragically Hip is damn near a perfect album in my eyes. I'd vote for:
1. Courage
2. Looking for a Place to Happen
3. At the Hundredth Meridian
That's an insane way to open an album. It's just 3 home runs in a row.

Since it seems we’re doing the full R.E.M. discography I’ll add one that will probably be controversial.
Out Of Time: Texarkana, Country Feedback, Me In Honey
It’s a really uneven record but those three would make a great E.P.

^^ re : out of time- that's my favorite stretch of the album too
an album that certainly doesn't register in my top tier of their discography though
