This seems extreme, given some of the teams been given leeway (Ravens, Steelers) having games pushed back with a case or two (including a coach in both cases) shutting it all down. The guys that got it on those teams obviously got it somehow too, possibly not following protocols as well.
If I were the Broncos (and the NFLPA), I’d consider a forfeit and not step on the field, in small part to make a statement, but mainly to maintain the health of your players rather then playing what is a meaningless game. It’s like if the Flames lost all 3 goalies, as well as the designated emergency backups just before ethe game, while playing in a non hockey town like Nashville, and had to use some junior b goalie Flames fan who was on a boys trip, for the entire game.

The other 3 QBs didn’t test positive, but are forced to quarantine because they didn’t have masks on in close proximity. Had they worn their masks they could have played.

That is only part of the reason; they were also trying to slow roll the league's investigation and contact tracers. This is basically how the Leagues sends a message to the rest of the teams via a franchise with no playoff chances.

Man, the Pats' offense is horrific. Painful to watch. I cheer for the Pats approx once or twice a year, and wow, they're letting me down
edit: Cards lose themselves the game with the helmet to helmet hit, effectively moving Pats from their own side of the field and into FG range for the last second FG win.
Not pretty, but the Cards L was what I came for, so won't complain.

Yeah I know that feeling. Tampa Bay has frequently given the Chiefs problems. Last time I can remember a KC win over Tampa is Montana's debut in 93. Doesn't matter the year just seems that some teams always have your number.
Needless to say today's game has me pretty worried.
