Chouinard was an elite passer. He tops my list.

Gauthier, Gelinas, or Yelle for sure. Probably Gelinas though.

I think Pelletier could be in the conversation in a few years. I’m excited to see how his game develops.

Not sure what order but as others have highlighted Chouinard, Lemelin and Gelinas stand above all others.

Funny, I never really thought of Yelle as being French-Canadian (I don’t recall him ever having any kind of accent). He’s had quite an interesting career in business post-NHL.

It’s Gelinas for me, although Tanguay, Gauthier and Lemelin also deserve some love (Chouinard was before my time). It would be interesting to do a poll for each country (Russian, Finn, Swede, American, etc).

Perhaps it was my age, or that the bar for entertainment was really low in the mid 90s for the Flames, but I always remember Joel Bouchard being a really funny guy in interviews.

Otherwise, has to be Yelle for me.

Met Reggie Lemelin (with Doug Risebrough and Lanny McDonald at an autograph signing at either Forzanis or Sport Chek) and he couldn’t have been nicer to me and my sister. He’s number two though. Martin Gelinas is my favourite though.

Ron Stern was a good hard nosed player, and played more games for the Flames than any other player from Quebec

Matt Lombardi was third in games played and pts by a Québécois
