Default January 17, just two games.

Hey, rise and shine everyone. There's a decent morning game prior to the NFL playoff games for this Sunday. The pregame links are all posted with each game. Centre Ice won't be needed in Canada.

Both games are on

What? Why?

Just did some reading. I'm definitely confused as to why he's suddenly a problem. He still give you plenty of offense from the back end, but he was never brought in to play defense. He gives an honest effort most nights.

This is clearly a move to force the player out of town.

I get why the Panthers want to move Yandle, but it seems like a poor way to handle a player who has been loyal to the organization and more than fulfilled his contract expectations. Panthers have some big problems, but Yandle isn't really one of them. This isn't a great look for a brand new GM.

Hoooo boy, Panthers have possibly the worst management group in the NHL ENI* over the last couple of decades. Just can't stop shooting themselves in the foots. All this does is lower Yandle's trade value. When teams know you have them over a barrel, they take advantage of that.

(ENI = Edmonton Not Included)

Ya if Yandle who is a serviceable NHL defender gets scratched and ends his Iron man in game 1 of the season that is a BRUTAL move by the Panthers. Especially how it is playing out with Yandle finding out through the media and management flat out lying.

Holy crap.

I just noticed that VGK is leading the West Division with 4 points in two games. Then I looked at their schedule:

Through the first fourteen games the Knights have one two-game set with St Louis. Their remaining twelve games break down as follows:

· Anaheim — 4GP 4/0 home/away (They won their first two this last week)
· Arizona — 4GP 2/2 home/away
· LA — 2GP 2/0 home/away
· SJ — 2GP 2/0 home/away

Twelve of their first sixteen games are in Vegas.

VGK could very likely be running away with the Division before they meet Colorado on Valentine's Day.

The West division is the easiest div to predict.

Avs Blues and Golden Knights are locks.

Only question is who sneaks into 4th.

I’m betting on the Wild over the Yotes.

Hard to know whether there are any restrictions on the number of people who can attend a Panthers game.

Chicago does have 8 games against Detroit this year. Surely they could win at least 2 of those.

Yeah but that team had Jonathan Toews and Kirby Dach. Going to be a tough season for Chicago.
