Blackwood has been playing well in netfor the Devils. The Bruins have 32 shots on net and had a 1-0 lead with Marchand's power play goal in the first period. Wood has just tied it midway through the third period.

The Hurricanes and BJs are both playing hang on with their 1-0 leads.

Dougie Hamilton fought Sam Gagner. Bit of a size mismatch.

The Rangers coach successfully challenged a goal, but, it is 4-0 Islanders.

A pair of goals 34 seconds apart, 2-2 now in the Bruins-Devils game.

I dunno why the Sabres don’t do with Ullmark, at least there’s the potential for him to develop into something. Hutton is just another fill in B goalie.

So the Oilers are showing how they are essentially a one line team as McDavid is taking over the game. Hat trick and a great player but the rest of that team... yikes.

The Oilers have 4 goals. Only 5 players have registered a point.

That’s exactly the stat line I have when a I play NHL20 with line changes off.

Does it feel weird/kind of nice to anyone else that we don’t have to really care about scoreboard watching outside of the Canadian teams? Just hope their are very few 3 point games between the other North division teams.

I forgot Arizona is allowing some fans into their games, but it's weird they took the safety nets down just like the arenas that aren't allowing fans yet.

They're also digitally projecting ads onto the ice inside the blueline which jiggle constantly...

Oilers/Canucks splitting is probably better than one team sweeping anyway

F both those teams

Final scores
http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/news/NHL-R...ate=01-14-2021
http://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/scoreboard.asp?day=2021011

There were 2 SHUTOUTS on the OOT. Varlamov stopped all 24 shots in the Islanders 4-0 win over the Rangers. Anders Lee scored 2 goals.
Mrazek had an easier time as he only faced 14 shots against his former team, Carolina beat the Red Wings 3-0. Greiss was Detroit's goalie and he was busy making 40 saves in a losing cause.

There were 2 games that went to the SO. The Sharks beat the Coyotes, but, the Coyotes' Kessel tied the game with 4 seconds left in reg time. The Bruins beat the Devils and part of that was to perfect penalty killing by the Bruins going 5/5. Blackwood was the reason the Devils managed to get a point as he made 35 saves.
