Default Gas Fireplace Repair

My gas fireplace won't seem to light when I flick the switch. Do we have any of the CP brain trust that does repairs? Or a recommendation of someone that does?

Thanks

Is the pilot light on? That can be the easy solution. Sorry, can't recommend anyone but looking forward to hearing how your problem is solved.

Pilot light is on, but doesn't seem to be getting gas when the switch is flicked.

Try replacing the switch.

You can try Randy at ASAP fireplace. Fixed an old fireplace that had been out of service for 10+ years.

Don't do it yourself IF you home insurance requires it to be 100% otherwise you are liable and at fault if something isn't right.

If its an older gas insert with a Thermo pile or slow opening valve certain things need to be checked as well.....better safe than sorry.
