Rumour making its rounds on the news sites is that Lars Mikkelson has signed on to play Thrawn in the Ahsoka spin off. Amazing choice if true.
EDIT I WAS WRONG. It’s actually LARS Mikkelson, who voiced Thrawn in Rebels! We’ve seen this before with Bo-Katan.

I agree he’d be a good choice - mostly since that’s whose voice I associate with Thrawn from Rebels. I actually hadn’t seen the news on him, I’ve mostly been seeing fan casting of Robert Downey Jr as Thrawn...but I can’t honestly see him wanting to do it. People playing up the Favreau connection from Iron Man.

The KK disciples arent going to be big fans, but I thought this was a pretty great look into what has been happening behind the scenes at LucasFilm over the past decade or so and the power struggle taking place between the Kennedy and Favreau/Filoni camps right now.
"Why the STAR WARS sequel trilogy had to remove Luke Skywalker"
I was rumbling through youtube the other day. We're all excited for the continuing adventures in the Mandalorian, and the possibilities of the Book of Bobba. After seeing an interview with Ewan and how excited he is around the Obi-Wan series, I can't help but wondering if we're sleeping a bit on the Andor series which sounds like it could be a James Bond spycraft kind of series where a good man does really bad things to help build the rebellion. Some of the set pieces and story boards for this have looked really interesting.

How have I never heard of this - Star Wars Detours from 2012?
Its Robot Chicken does Star Wars- but this time produced by LucasFilm and created by George himself Disney has yet to release the series. We need this released! Want more people to sign up for Disney+... just found something
Quote:
Star Wars Detours is an unaired American CGI-animated comedy series. It is differentiated from the other Star Wars animated series in that it is a parody of the franchise
The series is produced by Lucasfilm Animation in collaboration with Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich
Look at this cast! Hearing Seth's Palp's voice once again just makes me smile
Quote:
Seth Green
Dee Bradley Baker
Anthony Daniels
Ahmed Best
Billy Dee Williams
Seth MacFarlane
Felicia Day
Zachary Levi
Catherine Taber
Cree Summer
Donald Faison
Nat Faxon
Joel McHale
Weird Al Yankovic
Trailer here, its Robot Chicken does Star Wars once again - hook me up to an IV and pump that into my veins.
"Vader - nothing says vacation over quite like seeing you again"
An entire episode was leaked in Nov 2020, although I can't find it online. People seemed to love it
~2 seasons have been produced.
Yup, when it was first in development, some early stuff, it was brilliant.
People need to give credit to Seth Green who created the jerk palpatine character, the snotty Princess (Amidala and Leia) and the shifty Kenobi and clueless Vader. Later those translated over to the Star Wars Lego series.
Even though the animation style of detours was jarring, I was looking forward to it. But without it, we got the Robot Chicken Star Wars specials and continued content.
