He is probably about 3 years away, unless he busts through the ceiling.
No doubt I'm just hoping he can secure the starting g spot in Stockton as fast as possible.for development sakes I want him getting a good amount of starts against the best players possible.
Year 1: 30-40 games between echl and AHL
Year 2 : 35-40 AHL games
year 3: 50/50 ahl/ nhl split
Year 4 : nhl tandem
Is a 100 pro games enough for a goalie to develop and adjust to the difference between junior and nhl? We haven't developed a goalie in so long , Ortio and rittich both had pro experience before their ahl stints , I think mcBackup had a ton of ahl games. Natural talents like Hart and Gibson seemed to jump in right away . I guess if Wolf is as Elite as we hope he could be ready 3 seasons from now as you said.
I wish it didn't have the flaming C on it. I get the desire to have symmetry, but it's ruined by a backwards C on the opposite side.
Put the C elsewhere or don't put it on at all.
Or just put it normally on that side. There's nothing about that design that would be ruined by having the flames on the logo facing the front of the mask. On some masks, it makes sense for the flames to all be going in the same direction, but this isn't one of them.
Another option would have been to do that same fire effect with the horse head logo on that side of the mask.

Amazing work and despite having defended he concept of the inverse logo it would have looked just fine in it's normal orientation on this one.
But I can barely draw a stickman so who am I to criticize. I had lofty dreams when I bought my airbrush but the only thing I've done that was camo on a few warbird models. This guy has skills!

You have a team that’s name has to do with fire and for 30 years people have focused on mainly skulls.
It’s been a disappointment to say the least the way Flames goalies masks have gone.
And no, skulls because of their incessant popularity kind of suck actually. That’s why Kidds mask was actually good. Was that the last mask with anything creative on it? Tabarracci with the dragons?
Flames masks have sucked since Kiprusoff, which was the OG of skulls we are talking like almost 20 years of not great, unoriginal lameness.
Trevor Kidd must have the record for highest ratio of mask quality over playing quality.
12 year old me was so excited about him. He actually had a good rookie year and the flames looked like they were doing the right thing by moving on from Vernon. It was the lockout year and we had a pretty good team still. Then we played the sharks in round one lol. Kidd probably still has nightmares over that. He kind of seemed to lose his mojo after his meltdown. We were heavy favorites and it was pretty much kidd's fault we lost. We had prime fleury in God mode and just couldn't beat those stupid sharks. Still remember zalapski I think it was labeling a shot top corner in game 7 only to get blocked by the shaft of Flaherty's stick.
