It's going to be interesting, I am double vaccinated but personally have a bad immune system. The disease i have is in remission, but basically when active my immune system destroys healthy muscle tissue, its like working out every day and getting weaker the more I do. I'm coming up on 40 in a couple months, and I have a 3 month old daughter that was a month early and though close to full term has some wheezing in her breathing. The last thing in the world I should do is be in a sporting event venue with 20k people. When CSE announced proof of vaccination i was really excited because i felt if i take precautions i can go cheer on my team and have a bit of normal for the first time in 18 months. I know it sucks, but the way our ICU's are heading i think i will give it a few months before i commit to going. God help us if a new variant pops up that isn't well controlled by the shots we have already received.

Thinking its a good time to get a larger TV for games at home this year - too bad Sportsnet still broadcasts using a potato.

Thing is, this is an example of why people need to be cautious. You had COVID and were infectious and didn't even know it. If you'd been at a game you could have transmitted to someone.
Just a guess looking at most stadiums with games going on. CFL ect.

They are all roughly half full.

You can't project Flames' attendance by looking at CFL games. If you want to, you could compare them to NFL games and say - hey 100%!!

After 17 years I cancelled my season tix. Not ok going to a stadium of 19K people with ICU's being overrun and the large number of delta breakthrough cases.

from the email I just received regarding tickets...

Please Note: Calgary Sports and Entertainment (CSEC) will be implementing a COVID-19 vaccination policy that will require all fans (eligible to receive the vaccine), event staff and employees to be fully vaccinated for attendance at live events at the Scotiabank Saddledome and McMahon Stadium. Additional details on the implementation and logistics of this policy will be communicated to all fans in advance of our first pre-season game vs. the Edmonton Oilers on September 26.

I literally can do whatever I want. Within the constraints of the canadian legal system. As such, I’m comparing it to what I want to compare it to.

Just because you said that I’m now comparing it to the lineup I saw at Safeway today. I don’t know how the Flames are going to turn a profit. It was pretty sparse.

Yes, you can compare it to whatever you want. It would be stupid, but you can do it.

Is the potato the camera, or Cassie?
