I'm disappointed that Bernie won't be the nominee but at this point I agree with the above posters... time to unify behind Joe and hope it's enough to unseat the dangerous incumbent

Just hope Joe continues adopting some more progressive policies though.

I think I know who wins that battle. And it’s not even close.

Thankfully it will not be Bernie, dems dodged a major bullet. There was a chance he could have accumulated enough delegates with his 25-30 percent he is able to get in each state in a 6 person field. But once the field narrowed he was in big trouble.

Well Bernie has suspended all of his ads which is usually a pretty good indicator he's dropping out. Still no official announcement though.

Gabbard out, endorses Biden.

Tulsi Gabbard ends 2020 campaign and endorses Joe Biden https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/19/polit...ign/index.html

Quote:
"I know Vice President Biden and his wife and am grateful to have called his son Beau, who also served in the National Guard, a friend," Gabbard said in a statement. "Although I may not agree with the Vice President on every issue, I know that he has a good heart and is motivated by his love for our country and the American people."

Has Biden really lied any more than what would constitute typical politician lying? I'd say he's about in line with normal.

As far as Bernie is concerned, I don't know if I would exactly call him a model of honesty. It seems dishonest to me to run on a platform filled with promises that have almost no chance of being implemented and he must know that is true.

Lol, after the allegations, Biden might be the most quintessential white feminist nominee of all time.

He told a room full of African Americans that he met Nelson Mandela in prison and got arrested marching in Soweto.
He lies all the time. About the Iraq War, abortion, social security, his college grades. He is a gigantic liar.

Bernie Sanders drops out of the 2020 race, clearing Joe Biden's path to the Democratic nomination

I don't want to trigger anyone but I'm feeling a Trump re-election is more likely today than it was a month ago (nothing to do with Bernie dropping out).

There's no election today so that is meaningless but Biden has a lot of work to do IMO.
