Reddit hockey streams got banned, but Google.com takes all of 2 seconds to find a new source.

That or a quick PM...

I will say that I've complained about the legit streaming services for YEARS, both on CP and to the actual providers.

Screw those guys for trying to screw over paying customers who are willing to pay money for a legit source. I was begging them to take my money and all I wanted was to watch my favourite team on the fly. Instead I was met with blackouts, ####ty 2005 media players and laggy connections on my 300mbit connection. The final straw for me was having the Jets vs Preda WFC blacked out in freaking London England I'm my hotel room at 3am when trying to watch it due to some stupid contract agreement with some eurosport channel.

Now my favorite stream site streams all games in 60fps, loads fast, and even blocks the score so I dont spoil the result. Basic things GC could not do.

Dont ever pay Rogers another penny for hockey streams. 100% not worth it.

It will be back before there is another game played, guaranteed. If not on reddit, then somewhere else.

Agreed, I tried the Rogers app (Game Center) once and the first game I tried to watch was blacked out, so I cancelled immediately.

Well you are paying for illegal streams...not judging just saying that's why it is so cheap

I still find streaming sports isn't up to par with cable as far as quality goes but that is up to you (obviously it doesn't matter now)

Personally the IPTV services I have used are way better than Telus, or Bell or Rogers for sports. Quality is generally 1080p 60 FPS and you generally get a chance to watch the opposing teams broadcast which is pretty cool sometimes and they usually do a full 1/2 hour or hour pregame show unlike Sportsnet and TSN.

Well, I can't speak for any of those but I have compared the best streams legal and otherwise vs. Shaw by switching inputs and there is a difference. There is a delay and the action isn't as smooth.

Multiple broadcasts are definitely a plus especially for Oiler games

Just ask a really good friend for your shaw/telus login/password. I gave it to 2 of my coworkers. They each pay my bill every 5months.

In a household with 6 users I think having a basic cable package at $60 with TSN and SN is still good value. Unless you have an industrial wifi router, streaming with multiple users online at once can be annoying with delays etc.

Good call, removed the TSN and Sportsnet packs and then one other on Telus to cut my theme packs down a tier and the bill down for a while.

Reddit did, but with a very minor amount of sleuthing you can find another option

Timely thread. I haven't watched a non-sport on TV in over a decade. Time to get on the horn with Shaw.

sucks that they lost but that was a good game by Gio. Also, i forgot Cassie was doing color so long ago - she unfortunately just sounds the same.

As for Cable. I've been with Bell Sat for 17 years. I've only ever had 2 receivers and have 4 more in 3 other houses. I only pay $30/month and have almost all their channels. Works for me.
