Meh, who cares. Embrace the losing for the rest of the season, it’s for the best. Quite frankly, finish bottom 10 again next season as well. After that, then start thinking about winning again after you have hopefully added some elite talent to the pool.

I'm just going by what Dreger (who is our assistant GM's cousin) and a couple of the people with inside information on here have said.
It's just a bit crazy to me to not sell a goalie when his value is so high, because goalies are so volatile from year to year.

As long as Markstrom doesn't get injured, his stock will be just fine. GMs and scouts around the league won't put too much stock into his results to close out the season since the team is in full tank mode, and not roster a lineup that's capable of winning. His performance up to the trade deadline is the potential that can be sold.
