I'd be OK with this.

Excluding last year, the last 4-5 years the trade deadline, free agency, draft and camp have been the most exciting part of the Flames season for me.

I'm OK with a loss if it sparks BT to start selling off players that as a fan I (and many others) am sick of watching.

Flames win the final two before All star break bringing in a new sense of hope for the delusional homers like myself.

Hope Gaudreau can rebound. I want to see him have a dominating game. Don't really care if we win at this point.

That first pic with Engelland hitting Michael Cera and Uncle Lester salivating in the background is most good.

Default Flames vs Stars - 6:30 - SNetW

@KristenOdlandCH:

Flames starting Ramo again. Engelland in. Smid out. No changes up front which means Raymond and Bollig are out.

U have to think Monahan is holding him back a bit at this point which is why i want to see Bennett with him.

Gaudreau's bad play last game was all his own.

Getting so sick of this B.S. Smid was again one of our best players last game.

Guys don't go 1v3 multiple times unless they don't trust their linemates. Monahan hasn't made multiple good entries in a game since March 2015. There's some correlation.

Agreed, Smid was good last night.

Engelland has been decent as well.

Sit Wideman and have the third pair Smid/Engelland

Johnny's gone 1-3 over his whole short career many times, in good situations and bad. His bad passes were just that - bad passes. He had other choices he could have made.

Was Monahan great last night? Nope. But saying that's why Gaudreau was bad is just deflection of criticism from the favorite.

Tough game, Flames really need a quick start to this game.

They can not afford to fall behind..

Stars are due to break out of their slump.

Wow...the Stars have already given up 7 short handed goals. That's pretty awful.

Poor showing last night overall, despite the extra push they gave to make it close in the 3rd. Even though they'd like to come out strong, they're traveling an incredibly long way on a back to back (whoever looked at the schedule and thought that was ok is an idiot). I think this will be a close 4-3 loss. Just my gut.

Giordano - Brodie
Smid - Hamilton
Russell - Egelland

With Hamilton, Brodie and Giordano getting all the PP time. That's how it ought to be right now.
