Probably going to be an ugly (dull) game. But I'm going with the Flames in OT. 3-2. Bennett finally breaks out, etc.

This one makes me nervous. It was this game last season(a bit later in the season mind) that Gio got his injury. Fingers crossed we can get the W and avoid any serious issues.

Go Flames! After watching the Oilers beat the Panthers last night I need a win to cleanse my palate.

Also, if we even hope to have a shot at playoffs we need to start stringing some wins together. No more of this win one, lose one stuff.

Should they win tonight that's 5 out of 6 points in last 3 and all of a sudden the sting from Saturday nights wears off.

Decent out of town scoreboard the last two days. Could have been better but ducks, Arizona and sharks(in ot) all lost since the flames last played.

Doesn't Johnny usually step it up in Jersey and on this trip?

Usually? As in the one time he did this trip last season?

I remember a big goal in Boston last year, but not much else against those eastern american teams in that corridor of a couple states. I think he was shutout vs Jersey and both new york teams last season.

You are correct.

0 pts vs NJ, NYR, NYI (Rangers shutout Flames 1-0)
1A vs. Flyers
1G vs. Bruins
1A vs. Wings

That's not a bad lineup. I don't mind Bollig or Jooris sitting.

Whether it be the ability for the home team to better match lines or something else Johnny doesn't usually step it up on the road as he gets the majority of his points at home.

I would rather go back to Bennett-Backlund-Hudler and toss Frolik on line 3 with Granlund.
