D'uh, they're called "death jabs". They wouldn't have named them that if they weren't designed to kill you.

I mean, the mere idea that government and big pharma are trying to depopulate the planet by killing the compliant is just adorable.

It makes way more sense (and is supported by evidence) that they keep the compliant alive and kill the trouble makers.

It is always good to remind ourselves that the most outrageous peoples comprise a small minority. Only 13% of Albertans don't have a single dose and thousands are getting vaccinated every day. The vast majority of people on the subject of Covid 19 are moderates.

These people have gone to Facebook University.

Who are you to question them?

Had my first experience today having to use my QR code passport.

Lineup of maybe 10 people took 10 minutes because so many people were "Wait you need to see my passport? Ok let me find it." Then 5 minutes to hunt around in their backpack and get their wallet. Then do it all again for the ID. Every single person.

Signs up EVERYWHERE saying to have your crap ready.

This is why calling it a passport was such a bad idea, everyone's brains shut off when they think they're in an airport.

Hockey rink was like that too last night. Some guy spent 3 minutes scrolling his phone to find the photo of his QR code.

Just make your vaccine "passport" your lock screen wallpaper. Super easy.

How to change the wallpaper on your Lock screen
Launch Settings from the Home screen.
Tap Wallpaper.
Tap Choose a New Wallpaper.
Tap on the location of the new wallpaper you want to choose: ...
Tap on the image you want to use.
If you're not happy with the default settings, adjust your options: ...
Tap Set.

Someone also shared a way to create a shortcut on your iPhone which worked beautifully for me. Just looks like an app on my Home Screen. Click it, passport opens up, easy.

Did no one suggest he step aside and let other people go ahead while he searched?

iPhone is the easiest platform for this:

1. If you're not already upgraded to iOS 15.1, go do that.
2. Get your QR code from covidrecords.alberta.ca
3. Use the Camera app to focus on the QR code and tap 'Health' when the QR code highlights in the viewfinder.
4. Tap through the screens to add it to Health and Wallet.

Then it's a double-tap of the lock/power button and you just swipe down to the record in Wallet. Done.

For Android, use grassroots.vaccine-canada.ca with a screenshot of your QR code and it'll generate a pass you can add to Google Pay, then you can make an icon on your home screen.

Right now I'm doing the following on Android, using a cropped screenshot I took of the PDF showing the QR code:

- Load Photos app (google photos specifically)
- Tap Library button
- Tap Favorites button
- Tap image of QR code (it's the only photo I've marked as Favorite for now)

Takes me about 10 seconds to pull out my phone, unlock it and do those 4 taps.

You can upload your QR code to your wallet, I had to do the latest software update.

Once that was done I went back on the Alberta site as if I was getting my QR code for the first time. It gave me the option to load to wallet, super easy.

It looks like this:

I just saved the pdf to my Google drive, and put a shortcut on my home screen. After doing that, open it and select "make available offline".

It looks like Alberta is the only province or territory left whose QR code record isn't approved to use for the federal Proof of Vaccination. Last week, New Brunswick was also not approved, but they're now on the list.

I just printed my QR code and stuck it between my phone and my clear phone case. Ultimate in "quick and easy"- if only quite low tech.

That’s for mentioning this, complete. However, holy #### only Apple could make it that complicated to save a shortcut to a PDF on the homepage.

Despite doing it successfully, it reminded me why I hate and will never, ever utilize apple shortcuts.
