The movie version doesn’t mention him either.

I watched one as well and he wasnt mentioned.

Overall though, I think thats largely because they were focused more of 'the good' elements as opposed to Elon just being a dick for the hell of it.

Also, Elon can a bit litigious. Is it worth it to poke that bear?

I re-watched The Thing (1982) last night because I thought the setting would make the house feel colder (it worked). Forty years later the effects still horrify.

I might have shared this before but I showed it to my wife and boys a few years ago and filmed them during "the scene" to get their reactions. The boys were unfazed but my wife was not.

I watched that when I was 7. Watching the huskies turn inside out was enough.

I did watch the not so good remake though. That was... okay.

The 4K disk of The Thing released last year looks amazing, its the best way to watch the film in my opinion. If you haven't seen it and your a fan of the movie it's a must watch.

I recently watched the original The Thing From Another World, and for the most part it held up (except for the look of the Alien and some of the special effects).

The prequel is decent, but really wish they went with practical effects instead of CGI.

Bullet Train was good fun. Stay for the first half of the credits.

Agree 100%, it was really a fun watch. A few people left when the credits started to roll lol.

Bullet Train was way more fun than the reviews made it out to be.

I really think some of those critics analyzed the movie more deeply than they needed to. Forgot to relax and have fun. It brought that in spades.

Finally watched Tenet (on Netflix).

To say it was confusing would be an ... errr ... understatement.

One of those movies that you'd likely need to watch over and over again to fully comprehend.

Wouldn't recommend it (unless you're a repeated viewing kind of guy/gal).

Did you turn on the subtitles? at least you had that choice. In the theatre it was like watching a whole movie with 6 Banes. I guess they did it on purpose to make you watch it multiple times.

Yep. I’d read about that prior so we had the volume cranked and subtitles on.

Still extremely difficult to follow.

It's not his best work for sure, but it is certainly a cool movie. I enjoyed it the first time for the choreography and stuff. But it is definitely worth multiple viewings to pick up more as you go.

The boy and I watched Predator last night in preparation to watch Prey this weekend.

Predator holds up as long as you sit back relax and look past the ridiculous weapons issues.

Prey is okay. The animal behavior portrayed is laughable.

I'll apply the same level of disbelief to Prey as I do to Predator.

Pfft, you can totally shoot a gatling gun for two minutes straight while holding all the ammo on your person!

I saw the movie in the theatre, there were people laughing during that scene because it was so ridiculous.
