Yeah this is what I thought as well when I tried them. They went for the cake donut over the usual yeast donut but deep fried them a bit to long. Also the flavours were just ok. I got the maple bacon and the bacon was soft and I did not find any maple at all. The apple fritter was also over cooked and the apples seemed have just been on top and not mixed in.

I will try them again, probably in the new year but overall I was not impressed.
